Scripture

“And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.” Revelation 12:11 NLT

Yesterday, my Bestfriend and I was chatting over the phone about a few of our past mistakes and how it’s so very important that we forgive ourselves and be willing to share our struggles and testimonies. Of course this was after a few life updates and girl chat. My Husband and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary last November so I decided to go to Instagram and share a few of our marriage mistakes. One mistake that I shared was how many times I took my wedding ring off in our first year of marriage. The number was record breaking and a little embarrassing but my Instagram direct messages begin to fill up with “Thank you for sharing”, “Me too”, “I needed to read this”, and “Girl, we did the same thing”. I could feel a sense of transformation through the words of my testimony and transparency. As a result my Husband and I conducted a Instagram LIVE video and allowed anyone to ask marital questions. The segment was amazing! We were transparent with our past and in hopes that someone would be healed, restored, and set free.

Ask yourself this question… what test have you been through that has now turned into a testimony? And, can my testimony help with someones transformation? If you answered yes to both question I pray that you find the courage to share with others what God has done for YOU!
